This is a very simple translation of our national debt into household terms.
The character in this short video is making $21,000 a year, is spending $38,000 a year, is currently $140,000 in debt and asking his banker to raise his "debt limit" to $170,000. Oh .. and he's on his way to an Australian vacation.
