We strongly suggest you visit our webpages on the individual races to read all about the candidates and visit the additional links we provide (including televised forums).
Please note that as TEA Patriots, we are very concerned about the connection between council/board members who are supported by the unions, then negotiate a union contract.
We see that as an "unholy" alliance and an invitation to corruption at the expense of the taxpayer. Refer to our individual race web pages for more information. Our main election page has an explanation about our ranking methodolgy.

What is "bullet voting"?
Bullet voting is a tactic in which the voter selects only preferred candidates, despite the option to mark the ballot for several other candidates.
For instance, if five candidates are running for three seats, a voter may opt to vote for one candidate, even though he/she has the option to vote for "up to three." The three hopefuls who receive the most votes will be elected.
In Naperville, voters will elect three (3) candidates for each local school board, three (3) candidates for park board and one (1) for a two-year term, four (4) candidates for city council, one (1) candidate for mayor and two (2) candidates to serve on the College of DuPage Board of Trustees.
A bullet voter might choose only one candidate among a field of three or four hopefuls. Bullet voting likely happens most often when voters are unfamiliar with all the candidates and have not been able to make clear choices.
